AdSense (Google AdSense) is an advertisement system run by Google, which allows you quickly and easily integrate relevant text and image ads into your website. By relevant I mean content-relevant - AdSense analyses each page of yours (a Google-bot indexed version of it to be more precise), and determines the keywords for your text. Then, ads relevant to such keywords are shown.

AdSense supports both CPC (cost-per-click) and CPM (cost-per-thousand-impressions) ads.
